Services
Our services fall into two main categories - college and test preparation, and so is the method of delivery - on-site tutoring and web conferencing via Skype. Our tutors are experienced, certified teachers who have helped many students score greatly higher than they could have done without the help of a tutor. If you are a student who wants to achieve more in school, prepare better for college and achieve the SAT or ACT score you need for the college of your dreams, this is he place for you. For the parent trying to get help for a child in high school or college, this service could be of immeasurable help to your child.
College Prep
We coach, tutor, provide learning skill development and educational guidance for middle and high school students in two important subject areas-Math and English. These are very critical to student performance on achievement tests, as well as their success in college. Our college preparation tutoring covers math courses in the middle and high school curriculum such as Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus. We extend it to College Algebra, and Calculus college students who may need help in these math areas. Our English program covers AP English, with emphasis on Reading and Writing.
Test Prep
We prepare students for the GRE, SAT, ACT, THEA and TExES. Our focus areas are the Math and English portions of these tests, including the mathematics content tests. We do not provide tutoring for the PPR (Professional Practices and Responsibilities ) We have teachers who have themselves excelled in these areas, are are passionate about helping others achieve the goals.
On-site Tutoring and Video Conferencing
On-site tutoring is done at our office at 10830 North Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas. Tutoring by video conferencing is done on Skype. Students may sign up for on-site tutoring the at the center or sit in the comfort of their homes and enjoy direct communication with a tutor through video conferencing on Skype. All video conferencing is done from our center, so that they can be monitored for quality assurance purposes. We have recently included Home Tutoring for those who may need this service. Students need to download and sign up for Skype service to enable them select the video conferencing option. This is a free service which allows features such as screen capture and sharing, instant messaging as well as talk and write integration that enhances the video conferencing.
Tests
SAT and ACT
Students or candidates can chose from two options- a regular three-month prep program or an accelerated six-week program. In the regular prep program, six complete practice tests are covered in three months (twelve weeks). There is one practice test every two weeks. This provides ample time for students who may need more time to learn the material and have more practice before taking the actual test. In the accelerated program, three complete practice tests are covered in six weeks. We have very flexible hours and will work with you to find the hours that work for your schedule, including weekdays and weekends. The times we spend with you are used for tutoring and test strategy or skill development. Practice tests are taken at home at your own convenience. We do not include any of that in our charges. We provide guidelines for taking the practice tests in a manner that mimics the real test, whether SAT or ACT.
TExES Mathematics 4-8 and 8-12 Certification
Our TExES certification preparation classes are designed for those preparing to take the 4-8 or 8-12 certification examination. Since most of our students come from the working class, we make provisions based on their needs to accommodate their schedules. Talk to us and we will work with you on what fits your schedule, to help you realize your professional dream. We have highly competent and certified teachers with years of experience at almost various levels from elementary through middle to high school or college level. We guarantee complete satisfaction and success on your test. Our tutors are completely knowledgeable in all areas of the test. THEA
Save yourself a whole semester of developmental math, reading and writing at the community college and enroll directly into your program with a great score on the THEA.We have helped several people made it and you will be just one of our success stories. We will review thoroughly with you and make it all come together, everything that you have forgotten. It takes a maximum of 4 weeks to get a semester's work done.
